Lo fue para Abraham y Sara; después de esperar un hijo por muchos años, la fe de Sara falló y decidió tomar el asunto en sus propias manos. Así que le ofreció a Abraham su criada Agar como sustituta… Sin embargo, resultó una trastada colosal que tuvo consecuencias destructivas inimaginables. Usted puede ver en el medio oriente cómo los descendientes del hijo de Agar, Ismael, y del hijo de Sara, Isaac, continúan peleando hasta el día de hoy (Génesis 16—17, 21). No cometa el mismo error.
No se precipite adelantándose al tiempo del Señor. La paciencia es un fruto del Espíritu Santo, restringiéndole y permitiéndole que persevere hasta que el Padre cumpla en usted sus buenos propósitos. Él le ayudará a resistir si acude a Él. Sí, es difícil, pero vale absolutamente la pena. Así que espere y disfrute de la plenitud de su bendición.

Don’t be too quick to get ahead of God’s purposes. Be patient, wait for Him to show you His path and provision. If you’ve waited a long time to see your heart’s desire come true, this can be extremely difficult. It was for Abraham and Sarah; After waiting for a child for many years, Sara’s faith failed and she decided to take matters into her own hands. So she offered Abraham her maid Hagar as her substitute … Yet it turned out to be a colossal mistake that had unimaginable destructive consequences. You can see in the Middle East how the descendants of Hagar’s son Ishmael and Sarah’s son Isaac continue to fight to this day (Genesis 16-17, 21). Don’t make the same mistake.
Don’t rush ahead of the Lord’s timing. Patience is a fruit of the Holy Spirit, restraining you and allowing you to endure until the Father fulfills his good purposes for you. He will help you resist if you go to Him. Yes, it is difficult, but it is absolutely worth it. So wait and enjoy the fullness of his blessing.
Prayer:
Beloved Holy Spirit, we strengthen your patience so as not to fall into mistakes or walk in darkness, guide us to your eternal purposes and do not let us falter, we do not want our mistakes to harm our generations and there are consequences to regret; make us patient, firm and constant so that we can wait on you, in the name of Jesus, Amen
