Romanos 7:24-25
¡Miserable de mí! ¿quién me librará de este cuerpo de muerte? Gracias doy a Dios, por Jesucristo Señor nuestro. Así que, yo mismo con la mente sirvo a la ley de Dios, más con la carne a la ley del pecado.
¿Se siente impotente contra sus deseos pecaminosos? ¿Quiere obedecer a Dios, pero fracasa repetidas veces? Tal vez se ha dado cuenta de que la fuerza de voluntad simplemente no basta para vencer sus impulsos pecaminosos. Y eso es verdad. Si quiere luchar contra la tentación, debe hacerlo como lo hizo Jesús: con la Palabra de Dios. Como ve, el pecado empieza con sus pensamientos: aunque parezcan inocentes, atizan el deseo de satisfacer sus necesidades por sí mismo en lugar de permitir que Dios lo haga. Usted quiere sentirse amado y respetado, así que los deseos carnales se disparan. Luego chismea y habla mal de los que actúan rudamente con usted. Así que persigue el dinero, las relaciones personales y el poder. Después termina ahogando su vergüenza con comportamientos adictivos que lo único que hacen es aumentar su dolor. Pero nada de eso sirve. No, para dejar de pecar debe reemplazar sus pensamientos y tácticas con la verdad de Dios.
Efesios 4:23
“y renovaos en el espíritu de vuestra mente”
Recuerde que usted es una nueva criatura en Cristo: plenamente amada, aceptada, segura y limpia; y que las Escrituras son su mejor defensa contra la tentación. Así que permita que la verdad entre a su mente y en su corazón, y que sea su estilo de vida, mantenga una vida devota, y busque que Dios en todo tiempos.
Santiago 4:7-8 NTV
Así que humíllense delante de Dios. Resistan al diablo, y él huirá de ustedes. Acérquense a Dios, y Dios se acercará a ustedes. Lávense las manos, pecadores; purifiquen su corazón, porque su lealtad está dividida entre Dios y el mundo.
Mantengamos constantemente una actitud de no volver a pecar, y sigamos a Dios con todo nuestro corazón, en rectitud, humildad y obediencia.
Oración:
Padre Celestial, eterno Dios, hoy quiero agradecerte una vez más, por tu inmenso amor y poder que nos separó de la muerte para darnos vida eterna.
Hoy más que nunca quiero dejar todo en absoluto a un lado para seguirte sin reservas, quiero vivir apartado solo para ti total obediencia.

The temptation!
Romans 7: 24-25
Wretched me! Who will free me from this body of death? I thank God, through Jesus Christ our Lord. So, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, more with the flesh the law of sin.
Do you feel powerless against your sinful desires? Do you want to obey God, but repeatedly fail? Perhaps you have realized that willpower is simply not enough to overcome your sinful impulses. And that’s true. If you want to fight temptation, you must do it as Jesus did: with the Word of God. As he sees, sin begins with his thoughts: even though they may seem innocent, they fuel the desire to meet his needs on his own rather than allow God to do so. You want to feel loved and respected, so carnal desires skyrocket. Then you gossip and speak ill of those who act rude to you. So go after money, relationships, and power. Then you end up drowning your shame with addictive behaviors that only increase your pain. But none of that works. No, to stop sinning you must replace your thoughts and tactics with God’s truth.
Ephesians 4:23
“and renew yourselves in the spirit of your mind”
Remember that you are a new creation in Christ: fully loved, accepted, safe, and clean; and that the Scriptures are your best defense against temptation. So allow the truth to enter your mind and heart, and make it your lifestyle, maintain a devout life, and seek God at all times.
James 4: 7-8 NLT
So humble yourself before God. Resist to Devil, and he will flee from you. Draw close to God, and God will draw close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your heart, for your allegiance is divided between God and the world.
Let us constantly maintain an attitude of never sinning again, and follow God with all our hearts, in righteousness, humility, and obedience.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, eternal God, today I want to thank you once again, for your immense love and power that separated us from death to give us eternal life.
Today more than ever I want to put everything aside at all to follow you without reservation, I want to live apart only for you, total obedience.
