1 Tesalonicenses 5:18
Dad gracias en todo, porque esta es la voluntad de Dios para con vosotros en Cristo Jesús.
¿Porque debemos ser agradecidos?
-Debemos ser agradecidos porque así Dios, nos lo enseña en su palabra.
-Es de gran bendición levantar adoración a Dios de agradecimiento porque nos lleva a la presencia de Dios.
-El ser agradecidos honra y magnífica a Dios.
-Si nos concentramos en agradecer a Dios por lo que tenemos, sin mirar lo que no tenemos, traera paz a nuestros corazones y estaremos a la expectativa por lo que Dios más nos va a bendecir.
– Si podemos agradecerle a Dios cada día, eso manifestará la verdadera condición de nuestro corazón y de nuestro espíritu.
Según 1 Tesalonicenses 5:18, el versículo de hoy, nos dice que la voluntad de Dios para ti y para mi es que en todo demos gracias. En todo.
Luego vemos que es bueno dar gracias, porque ser agradecido es evidencia de estar llenas del Espíritu Santo.
En Efesios capítulo 5 se nos habla de la llenura del Espíritu, y luego nos da formas prácticas de lo que significa ser llenas del Espíritu. Por eso Pablo nos dice en el verso 18 de Efesios capítulo 5, “Sed llenos del Espíritu”. Como no podemos ver el Espíritu Santo. No puedo simplemente mirarte y ver si estás llena del Espíritu. Igual, no puedes mirarme y saber si yo estoy lleno del Espíritu Santo. Entonces, ¿Cómo podemos saber si estamos llenándonos del Espíritu Santo?
Bueno, podremos saberlo si las afirmaciones que siguen en el versículo son una realidad en nuestras vidas. Una de las cosas que se nos dice luego del versículo 18 se encuentra en el versículo 20: “Dando siempre gracias por todo al Dios y Padre, en el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo”.
¿Cómo puedo saber si estoy llena del Espíritu? Lo estoy sí soy agradecido.
¿Ves? Si estoy lleno del Espíritu no puedo lloriquear, quejarme, murmurar o ser quejumbroso. Si estoy murmurando o quejándome, eso dice que estoy lleno de mí mismo. Pero no puedo estar a la misma vez ser lleno del Espíritu y ser una quejumbrosa.
De manera que, una vida agradecida, los labios agradecidos, una actitud de gratitud es la evidencia de que estoy llena del Espíritu Santo.
¿Eres agradecido? ¿Estás caminando en una actitud de gratitud hoy? Si es así, eso es evidencia de que estás lleno del Espíritu de Dios.
Y también es bueno dar gracias porque las personas agradecidas son como Jesús.
Es muy interesante, ver en los evangelios, la cantidad de veces que las Escrituras nos dicen que Jesús dio gracias. Jesús fue una persona agradecida, y si quieres ser como Jesús, necesitas ser una persona agradecida.
Esta fue una de las circunstancias en que las Escrituras dicen que Jesús dio gracias. En Lucas capítulo 10, Jesús estaba orando y el contexto es el regreso de los 70 discípulos que Él había enviado a ministrar. Ellos estaban emocionados y contentos por el éxito de su viaje misionero.
Pero Jesús les dice que deben estar agradecidos no porque los demonios se sujetaron a ellos, o porque tenían poder sobre Satanás, sino más bien, por el tipo de relación que tienen con el Señor.
Y luego, Jesús vuelve sus ojos hacia los cielos y comienza a orar a Dios. Y dice en Lucas capítulo 10:
“En aquella misma hora El se regocijó mucho en él Espíritu Santo, y dijo: Te alabo, (doy gracias) Padre, Señor del cielo y de la tierra, porque ocultaste estas cosas a sabios y a inteligentes, y las revelaste a niños. Sí, Padre, porque así fue de tu agrado” (Lucas 10:21).
Jesús está dándole gracias a Dios al decir: “Te alabo (te doy gracias) Padre”. Él tenía una íntima relación con Su Padre Celestial, una relación de gratitud. La razón específica de su agradecimiento hacia Dios en este momento, era resaltar que al Padre le agradó revelar el misterio de quien Él era y de Sus obras a personas sencillas como nosotras.
Jesús estaba agradecido de que Dios se lo reveló a esos discípulos. Por eso se detuvo a decir, “Te alabo, gracias Padre”. Jesús estaba agradecido.

¡Amado Rey de Gloria! Gracias muchas gracias por cada regalo maravilloso en nuestras vidas y familia, nos enseñas en tú palabra que es tu voluntad que seamos agradecidos en todo tiempo por lo bueno y aun por lo malo, porque todo tiene un propósito en nuestras vidas, llenanos mas y mas de ti Santo Espíritu de Dios, para todo tiempo reflejar el gozo de tu Salvación en nuestras vidas y siempre estar agradecidos, en el nombre de Jesús te lo pedimos, Amén!

1 Thessalonians 5:18
Give thanks in everything, because this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.
Why should we be grateful?
-We must be grateful that God teaches us in his word.
-It is a great blessing to raise adoration to God of gratitude because it leads us to the presence of God.
-Being grateful honors and magnifies God.
-If we concentrate on thanking God for what we have, without looking at what we don’t have, it will bring peace to our hearts and we will be waiting for what God will bless us the most.
– If we can thank God every day, that will manifest the true condition of our heart and spirit.
According to 1 Thessalonians 5:18, today’s verse, tells us that God’s will for you and me is that we give thanks in everything. Throughout.
Then we see that it is good to give thanks, because being grateful is evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit.
In Ephesians chapter 5 we are told about the filling of the Spirit, and then we are given practical ways of what it means to be filled with the Spirit. This is why Paul tells us in verse 18 of Ephesians chapter 5, “Be filled with the Spirit.” How we cannot see the Holy Spirit. I can’t just look at you and see if you are filled with the Spirit. Likewise, you cannot look at me and know if I am filled with the Holy Spirit. So how can we know if we are being filled with the Holy Spirit?
Well, we can tell if the statements that follow in the verse are a reality in our lives. One of the things that we are told after verse 18 is found in verse 20: “Always giving thanks for everything to God the Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
How can I know if I am filled with the Spirit? I am yes I am grateful.
You see? If I am filled with the Spirit, I cannot whine, or complain. If I am complaining, that says I am full of myself. But I can’t be at the same time being filled with the Spirit and being a complainer.
So a grateful life, grateful lips, an attitude of gratitude is the evidence that I am filled with the Holy Spirit.
Are you grateful? Are you walking in an attitude of gratitude today? If so, that is evidence that you are filled with the Spirit of God.
And it’s also good to give thanks because grateful people are like Jesus.
It is very interesting to see in the Gospels the number of times that the Scriptures tell us that Jesus gave thanks. Jesus was a thankful person, and if you want to be like Jesus, you need to be a thankful person.
This was one of the circumstances in which the Scriptures say that Jesus gave thanks. In Luke chapter 10, Jesus was praying and the context is the return of the 70 disciples He had sent to minister. They were excited and happy about the success of their mission trip.
But Jesus tells them that they should be thankful not because the demons were subjected to them, or because they had power over Satan, but rather, because of the kind of relationship they have with the Lord.
And then, Jesus turns his eyes to heaven and begins to pray to God. And it says in Luke chapter 10:
“In that same hour He rejoiced very much in the Holy Spirit, and said: I praise you, (I give thanks) Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you concealed these things from the wise and the intelligent, and revealed them to children. Yes, Father, because that’s how you liked it ”(Luke 10:21).
Jesus is thanking God by saying, “I praise you (I thank you) Father.” He had an intimate relationship with His Heavenly Father, a relationship of gratitude. The specific reason for his gratitude to God at this time was to highlight that the Father was pleased to reveal the mystery of who He was and of His works to simple people like us.
Jesus was thankful that God revealed it to those disciples. That is why he stopped to say, “I praise you, thank you Father.” Jesus was grateful.

Questions to conclude:
▪︎At dawn when you wake up, do you feel in your heart thanking God for a new day of life?
▪︎When you have an unpleasant circumstance, the first thing you do is complain and say: Why does this have to happen to me?

Beloved King of Glory! Thank You very much for every wonderful gift in our lives and family, You teach us in Your word that it is Your will that we be grateful at all times for the good and even for the bad, because everything has a purpose in our lives, fill us more and more of You Holy Spirit of God, for all time to reflect the joy of Your Salvation in our lives and always be grateful, in the name of Jesus we ask You, Amen!
