Bienaventurado el que espere, y llegue a mil trescientos treinta y cinco días. Y tú irás hasta el fin, y reposarás, y te levantarás para recibir tu heredad al fin de los días.
Daniel 12:12-13
¿Eres de los que se sienten impacientes al hacer una fila y quieres avanzar rápidamente a tu meta? ¿Seria muy loco si digo que Dios nos ha llamado a esperar? No suena muy lógico que el llamado que Dios nos hace implique no ver inmediatamente todo lo que deseamos, sino que debemos esperar,
pero Efesios 1:18 dice “alumbrando los ojos de vuestro entendimiento, para que sepáis cuál es la esperanza a que él os ha llamado, y cuáles las riquezas de la gloria de su herencia en los santos”.
Este camino no es de comenzar, este camino no es de aguantar mucho tiempo, este camino es de esperar hasta el final y aun más allá de la muerte. Dicen por ahí que las mejores cosas toman tiempo, y es una realidad que a Dios le gusta hacerse esperar, porque es muy grande y hermoso todo lo que Él nos quiere dar.
¿Sabias que la profesión del cristiano es esperar? Los cristianos llegamos
graduados al cielo en la profesión de la esperanza.
Hebreos 10:23 ”Mantengamos firme, sin fluctuar, la profesión de nuestra esperanza, porque fiel es el que prometió”. Dios quiere que te gradúes en la profesión de la esperanza, por eso te va hacer esperar para ejercitarte, para entrenarte.
EN LA BIBLIA SE VE QUE DIOS PASÓ POR LA PRUEBA DE LA ESPERA A MUCHOS DE SUS HIJOS:
1) Abraham, tuvo que esperar por su hijo Isaac.
2) Isaac tuvo que esperar que Dios le proveyera su esposa a través del trato que hizo su padre con su siervo, y no apresurarse a buscarse una por su propia cuenta.
3) Jacob, tuvo que esperar mucho tiempo hasta poder tener a su amada Raquel.
4) José tuvo que esperar mucho tiempo hasta ver cumplido sus sueños.
5) El pueblo de Israel tuvo que esperar bastante tiempo hasta tomar posesión de
la tierra prometida.
6) David tuvo que esperar bastante tiempo después de haber sido ungido como rey para finalmente verse reinando.
7) Job tuvo que esperar todo el tiempo que duro su terrible prueba para escuchar a Dios y conocerlo cara a cara y obtener respuesta a su situación.
8) Jeremías tuvo que esperar durante gran parte de su ministerio hasta poder ver cumplida la profecía que Dios le había dado de la cautividad de Israel.
9) Daniel tuvo que esperar bastante tiempo hasta que Dios le respondiera sus oraciones para que le revelara el futuro profético.
10) El pueblo de Israel duró mucho tiempo esperando la venida del Mesías prometido.
11) Martha y maría tuvieron que esperar a Jesús para que resucitara a Lázaro.
12) Los discípulos tuvieron que esperar en Jerusalén hasta el cumplimiento de la venida del espíritu santo.
13) Al señor Jesús también le toco esperar 30 años para que se cumpliera el propósito de Dios en Él y se desarrollara su ministerio, y durante todo ese tiempo, tuvo que esperar pacientemente el tiempo de Dios, el momento adecuado.
Contrario a lo que podríamos pensar, esperar es duro, es desgastante, esperar es una batalla constante, esperar en Dios no es fácil, pero esperar en Dios no es quedarnos quietos sentados sin hacer nada, esperar en Dios es resistir al diablo, y tener dominio propio, buscar a Dios constantemente para no tomar las cosas de nuestra propia rienda y buscar nuestras propias soluciones.
Oración:
Bendito Dios , tu palabra es fiel y verdadera todo lo que tu has dicho se cumplirá , por eso nos fortalecemos en ti para saber esperar , aunque tardare la promesa sabemos que llegara , danos de tu paciencia y que nuestra fe permanezca sin dudar ; en el nombre de Jesús ; Amen!
Wait on God
Blessed is the one who waits and reaches one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days. And you will come to the end, and you will rest, and you will rise to receive your inheritance at the end of the days.
Daniel 12: 12-13
Are you one of those who get impatient when they queue and want to move quickly towards their goal? Would it be very crazy if you said that God has called us to wait? It does not sound very logical that the call that God gives us implies not seeing immediately everything we want, but that we must wait, but Ephesians 1:18 says “enlightening the eyes of your understanding, so that you know what is the hope that has called, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
This path must not begin, this path must not last long, this path is to wait until the end and even beyond death. They say that the best things take time, and it is a reality that God likes to make himself wait, because everything he wants to give us is very big and beautiful.
Did you know that the profession of the Christian is to wait? Christians graduate to heaven in the profession of hope.
Hebrews 10:23 “Let us hold fast, without wavering, the profession of our hope, for faithful is he who promised.” God wants you to graduate in the profession of hope, that’s why he will make you wait to exercise, to train.
IN THE BIBLE IT IS SEEN THAT GOD PASSED THROUGH THE TRIAL OF WAITING FOR MANY OF HIS CHILDREN:
1) Abraham, had to wait for his son Isaac.
2) Isaac had to wait for God to provide his wife through his father’s deal with his servant, and not rush to find one on his own.
3) Jacob, had to wait a long time until he could have his beloved Rachel.
4) Joseph had to wait a long time to see his dreams come true.
5) The people of Israel had to wait a long time to take possession of the promised land.
6) David had to wait a long time after being anointed as king to finally see himself reigning.
7) Job had to wait all the time that his terrible trial lasted to listen to God and meet him face to face and obtain an answer to his situation.
8) Jeremiah had to wait for much of his ministry until he could see the prophecy that God had given him about the captivity of Israel fulfilled.
9) Daniel had to wait a long time for God to answer his prayers to reveal the prophetic future.
10) The people of Israel waited a long time for the coming of the promised Messiah.
11) Martha and Maria had to wait for Jesus to raise Lazarus from the dead.
12) The disciples had to wait in Jerusalem until the fulfillment of the coming of the holy spirit.
13) Jesus also had to wait 30 years for God’s purpose in him to be fulfilled and his ministry to develop, and during all that time, he had to wait patiently for God’s time, the right moment.
Contrary to what we might think, waiting is hard, it is exhausting, waiting is a constant battle, waiting on God is not easy, but waiting on God is not sitting still and doing nothing, waiting on God is resisting the devil, and having self-control, constantly seeking God so as not to take things from our own reins and seek our own solutions
Prayer:
Blessed God, your word is faithful and true, everything you have said will be fulfilled, that is why we strengthen ourselves in you to know how to wait, although the promise will take time, we know that it will come, give us your patience and that our faith remains without doubting; in the name of Jesus; Amen!
