Isaías 41:10:
“No temas, porque yo estoy contigo; no desmayes, porque yo soy tu Dios que te esfuerzo; siempre te ayudaré te sustentare con la diestra de mi justicia”.
¿Qué es el temor? El temor (del latín timor) es una pasión del ánimo que lleva a un sujeto a tratar de escapar de aquello que considera arriesgado, peligroso o dañino para su persona. El temor, por lo tanto, es una presunción, una sospecha o el recelo de un daño futuro.
Todo sabemos que es el temor, porque mucho de nosotros lo hemos experimentado en algún momento, es un sentimiento que la mayoría de veces no sabemos controlar. Muchas veces tememos al fracaso, por pensar que somos personas que nunca vamos a poder lograr nuestros objetivos, nuestras metas o propósitos; temor a perder nuestro empleo, a no poder conseguir esa casa tan anhelada; temor a un fracaso sentimental, pero alguna vez nos hemos puesto a pensar ¿Qué desea Dios para nosotros? ¿Cuál es el deseo de Él para que no vivamos en ese temor? Cuando somos ciegos espiritualmente y vivimos en este mundo lleno de ese temor por no tener lo material o fracasar en aquello que creemos que está bien, no llegamos a entender lo maravillosas que son las obras de Dios para con nosotros. Por lo tanto, debemos aceptarlo en nuestra vida, como dice en:
Romanos 8:28
“y sabemos que a los que aman a DIOS, todas las cosas les ayudan a bien, esto es, a los que conforme a su propósito son llamados”.
Si queremos vivir una vida sin temor, debemos seguir el camino que Él ha trazado para nosotros; creyendo en su palabra, porque Dios es fiel, generoso y su amor es tan grande que no quiere que sus hijos vivan con temor, ni en tinieblas.
Y a través de la intimidad diaria con Él y por su palabra, lo podremos conocer más, y el temor se empezará a desarraigar de nuestro corazón.
1 Juan 4:18
“En el amor no hay temor, sino que el perfecto amor echa fuera el temor; porque el temor lleva en sí castigo. De donde el que teme, no ha sido perfeccionado en el amor”.
Y a través de la oración pediremos a Dios que nos dé, lo que siempre estamos necesitando, que es su AMOR.
2 Timoteo 1:7
“porque no nos a dado DIOS espíritu de cobardía, sino de poder, de amor y de dominio propio”.
Esto nos da a entender que Dios no quiere hijos temerosos, sino hijos que sigan su camino; que sepamos qué tan generoso es nuestro Dios cuando tomamos la decisión de no vivir en ese temor, sino de amarlo y glorificarlo.
Isaías 54:14
“con justicia serás adornada; estarás lejos de opresión, porque no temerás y de temor porque no se acercará a ti”.
Vivir tranquilos es a causa de su amor y de su paz que llena nuestros corazones, reconociendo y declarando que todo va a estar bien. Porque ya Dios estipuló un propósito en nosotros; solo tenemos que abrirle las puertas de nuestro corazón para que sea el Espíritu Santo reinando en todo nuestro ser.
Pero no te olvides del temor de Dios ya que es una absoluta reverencia y admiración por un Dios Todopoderoso, el creador de todo lo que conocemos, temor santo hacia Dios, no temor del miedo como sentimiento propio del ser humano.
Recuerda lo que este versículo nos enseña:
Proverbios 1: 7
“El principio de la sabiduría es el temor de Jehová”.
Oración:
Santo espíritu de Dios, gracias por ser mi luz, mi salvación y por tu amor. Ayúdame a controlar mis temores, miedos e inseguridades, a seguir tu camino con rectitud y completa obediencia. Dame paz, consuelo y sabiduría para saber y poder sobrellevar cada situación de mi diario vivir y a ser mejor persona cada día, a ser conforme a tu corazón. Creo en ti, en tu amor y tu protección. En el nombre de Jesús.

Fear
Isaiah 41:10:
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
What is fear? Fear (from Latin timor) is a passion of encouragement that leads a subject to try to escape what he considers risky, dangerous or harmful to himself. Fear, therefore, is a presumption, suspicion, or suspicion of future harm.
We all know what fear is, because a lot of us have experienced it at some point, it is a feeling that most of the time we do not know how to control. We are often afraid of failure, thinking that we are the type of people who will never be able to achieve our goals, or our purposes; fear of losing our job, that we could not get that house we longed for; fear of a sentimental failure, but have we ever thought what God desires for us? What is His desire for us to not live in this fear? When we are spiritually blind and live in this world filled with the fear of not having material things or failing in what we believe is right, we do not come to understand how wonderful God’s works are to us. Therefore, we must accept it in our lives, as it says in:
Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
If we want to live a life without fear, we must follow the path He has set for us; Believing in his word, because God is faithful, generous, and his love is so great that he does not want his children to live in fear, or in darkness.
And through daily intimacy with Him and by His word, we will be able to know Him more, and fear will begin to be uprooted from our hearts.
1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
And through prayer we will ask God to give us, what we are always needing, which is his LOVE.
2 Timothy 1:7
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. This allows us to understand that God does not want fearful children, but for his children to follow his path; he shows us how generous he is when we make the decision not to live in that fear, but to love and glorify Him.
Isaiah 54:14
In righteousness you will be established:
Tyranny will be far from you; you will have nothing to fear.
Terror will be far removed; it will not come near you.
Living peaceful is because of your love and peace that fills our hearts, recognizing and declaring that everything will be well. For God already stipulated a purpose in us; we just have to open the doors of our hearts to him so the Holy Spirit can reign in us.
But do not forget the fear of God as it is an absolute reverence and admiration for an Almighty God, the creator of all that we know, holy fear of God, not a terrified kind of fear humans feel.
Remember what this verse teaches us:
Proverbs 1: 7
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
Prayer:
Holy spirit of God, thank you for being my light, my salvation, and for giving us your love. Help me to control my fears and insecurities, to follow your path in righteousness and complete obedience. Give me peace, comfort, and wisdom to know and be able to endure every situation in my daily life and to be a better person as well as have a heart like yours. I believe in you, in your love and in your protection. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
