¿A qué dedicas más tiempo? ¿A jugar a videojuegos, a leer libros, leer la Biblia o ver la televisión?
No podemos pasar tres horas viendo la televisión, leer la Biblia durante tres minutos y esperar crecer. En la actualidad existen más Biblias impresas de las que hubo jamás, pero tener una en el estante no sirve de nada.
Aunque hay mucho en la Biblia que puede resultar difícil de entender, es el libro más poderoso que leerás nunca. La Biblia es mucho más que un manual. La Palabra de Dios:

▪︎Forma nuestra fe
▪︎Nos cambia
▪︎Sana nuestras heridas
▪︎Forja el carácter
▪︎Difunde el gozo
▪︎Derrota la tentación
▪︎Infunde esperanza
▪︎ Purifica nuestra mente
▪︎ Garantiza nuestro futuro para siempre.
No podemos vivir sin la Palabra de Dios. No la des jamás por sentada.
Oración:
Señor, perdóname por las veces que he dado tu Palabra por sentada. Cuando no quiero estudiar o leer la Biblia, te ruego que me alientes a acudir a ella. Quiero conocerte mejor.
Day 193 • How Do You Spend Your Time?
Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings.”
(JOHN 8:31, NLT)
What do you spend more time doing? Playing games, reading books, reading the Bible, or watching TV?
We can’t watch television for three hours, then read the Bible for three minutes and expect to grow. There are more Bibles in print today than ever before, but a Bible on the shelf is worthless.
Though there is a lot in the Bible that may be hard to understand, it’s the most powerful book you will ever read. The Bible is much more than a guidebook. God’s Word:

▪︎Forms our faith
▪︎Changes us
▪︎Heals hurts
▪︎Builds character
▪︎Spreads joy
▪︎Defeats temptation
▪︎Infuses hope
▪︎Cleanses our minds
▪︎Guarantees our future forever.
We cannot live without the Word of God! Never take it for granted.
Prayer
Lord, forgive me for those times I’ve taken your Word for granted. When I don’t want to study or read the Bible, can you give me encouragement to pick it up? I want to know you better.
