Cuando hablamos de satisfacer nuestras necesidades, a menudo miramos a todos y a todo menos a Dios. Buscamos respuestas en multitud de lugares, algunos útiles y otros perjudiciales para nuestro espíritu. Pero la fuente suprema que nos proporciona todo lo que necesitamos es el Padre. Él obra a través de una variedad de métodos e instrumentos, pero en última instancia Él es el autor y originador de todo lo que necesitamos; tanto en el ámbito material, natural y físico como en el ámbito emocional, mental y espiritual.
Muchas de las formas en que el Señor nos ayuda se pueden encontrar en su Palabra, que nos enseña las maneras correctas e incorrectas de encontrar significado y satisfacción. Pero la mejor noticia sobre los métodos de Dios para satisfacer nuestras necesidades es que no tienen efectos secundarios negativos. No nos quedan sentimientos residuales de ansiedad, culpa, frustración o vergüenza. Más bien, cuando miramos al Señor como nuestro proveedor, Él responde de una manera que nos deja con una profunda paz interior, satisfacción y un sentimiento de plenitud. Por lo tanto, examina si estás buscando otra cosa que no sea Dios para tus necesidades y vuelve a Él para que responda a los anhelos de tu alma.

Jesús, otras cosas no me satisfacen nunca, pero tú llenas mi vida hasta rebosar. Gracias, mi amoroso proveedor. Amén.
Satisfied by the Source
You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.
PSALM 145:16
When we talk about having our needs met, we often look to everyone and everything except God. We seek answers from a host of places—some helpful, others harmful to our spirits. But the ultimate Source for providing all we require is the Father. He works through a variety of methods and instruments, but ultimately, He is the Author and Originator of all that we need, both in the outer material, natural, and physical realm and in the inner emotional, mental, and spiritual realm.
Many of the ways the Lord helps us can be found in His Word, which teaches us the right and wrong ways of finding meaning and contentment. But the best news about God’s methods for meeting our needs is that there are no negative side effects. We are not left with residual feelings of anxiety, guilt, frustration, or embarrassment. Rather, when we look to the Lord as our Provider, He responds in a way that leaves us with deep inner peace, satisfaction, and a sense of fulfillment. Therefore, examine whether you’re looking to anything other than God for your needs and turn back to Him to answer the longings of your soul.

Jesus, other things never satisfy, but You fill my life to overflowing. Thank You, my loving Provider. Amen.
