“No dejes que nadie te menosprecie por ser joven, sino sé ejemplo de los creyentes en la palabra, en la conducta, en el amor, en la fe y en la pureza”. 1 Timoteo 4:12
¿Cómo puedo ser un ejemplo piadoso para los demás en mi vida? ¿Alguna vez te has desanimado porque la gente no te escucha cuando hablas de Jesús?
Puede resultar desalentador contarles a otros acerca de Jesús sólo para que se burlen de ti. Hagas lo que hagas, no te rindas. Es esencial no permitir que nadie te menosprecie sólo porque eres una adolescente que ama a Jesús con todo tu corazón.
No te avergüences de ello ni tengas miedo de admitirlo ante cualquiera que conozcas. Habla el amor de Dios sobre tu vida, sobre tu familia y amigos. Podría cambiar sus vidas y definitivamente cambiará la tuya para mejor. Puedes dar el ejemplo a todos en tu vida de mirar siempre a Dios, sin importar por lo que estén pasando. La gente verá a Jesús a través de tus acciones, palabras y reacciones a las cosas que te digan.
No te desanimes porque la gente piense que eres demasiado joven para hablar de la bondad de Dios. Nunca eres demasiado joven para hablarles a otros acerca de Él. Comparte Su amor de todas las formas posibles y en todos los lugares posibles, sin importar lo joven que seas.
Siempre que estés desanimado por ser Su testigo, di esta oración: “Señor, por favor ayúdame a ser un ejemplo tuyo en todo lo que digo y hago”.
Being Discouraged
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12
How can I be a Godly example to others in my life? Have you ever been discouraged because people aren’t listening to you when you talk about Jesus? It can get discouraging telling others about Jesus only to have them scoff at you. Whatever you do, don’t give up. It is essential to not let anyone look down on you just because you’re a teenage girl who loves Jesus with all your heart.
Do not be ashamed of that or afraid to admit it to anyone you meet. Speak the love of God over your life, over your family and friends. It just might change their lives, and it will definitely change yours for the better. You can set an example for everyone in your life to always look to God, no matter what they might be going through. People will see Jesus through your actions, words, and reactions to the things they tell you. Don’t get discouraged because people think you’re too young to talk about the goodness of God. You’re never too young to tell others about Him. Share His love in every way possible and in every possible place, no matter how young you are.
Whenever you’re discouraged about being His witness, say this prayer: “Lord, please help me to be an example of You in all I say and do.”
