Pero los que confían en el Señor renovarán sus fuerzas; volarán como las águilas: correrán y no se fatigarán, caminarán y no se cansarán.

Isaías nos enseña a esperar al Señor cuando sabemos que nuestra fuerza necesita ser renovada. Esperar a Dios significa pasar tiempo con Él en su Palabra y su presencia.
Hay ciertas personas de las que podemos sacar fuerzas solo por estar cerca de ellas. Su misma presencia, la forma en que hablan y abordan la vida, parece hacernos sentir mejor cuando estamos desanimados. Del mismo modo, hay otros que parecen hacernos sentir peor. Tienen una manera de poner un borde negativo en las cosas.
Cuando necesite fortalecerse, le animo a pasar tiempo con Dios y con personas que le dirijan hacia Él. Pasar tiempo en la presencia de Dios es como sentarse en una habitación llena con perfumes que huelen deliciosos. Si nos sentamos allí por suficiente tiempo, llevamos la fragancia con nosotros a todas partes.

La fuerza y el coraje verdadero provienen solo del Señor. Espere por su dirección, su paz y su fuerza para que lo impulsen hacia adelante.

Renewing Your Strength
But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power.
(Isaiah 40:31)
Isaiah teaches us to wait for the Lord when we know our strength needs to be renewed. Waiting for God means spending time with Him in His Word and His presence.
There are certain people we can draw strength from just by being around them. Their very presence, the way they talk and approach life, seems to make us feel better when we are discouraged. Likewise, there are others who seem to make us feel worse. They have a way of putting a negative edge on things.
When you need to be strengthened, I encourage you to spend time with God and with people who will point you to Him. Spending time in God’s presence is like sitting in a room filled with sweet-smelling perfume. If we sit there long enough, we take the fragrance with us everywhere we go.

Lasting strength and courage come only from the Lord. Wait for His direction, His peace, and His strength to propel you forward.
