Remember God’s Faithfulness
Those who love me, I will deliver; I will protect those who know my name. When they call to me, I will answer them; I will be with them in trouble, I will rescue them and honor them. PSALM 91:14-15 NRSV
When we read God’s Word, we glue our need to God’s provision. We read the words on the page and realize God has helped people with the same needs as ours. Whether it’s for love or wisdom, provision or righteousness, Jesus has all we need. He is a generous giver, and he has beckoned us closer to receive what he has for us—including intimacy with him.
Read through his Word and be trained of him. Let the Holy Spirit teach you all things as you ponder and reflect. Read the Psalms for comfort and encouragement; study the Proverbs for deeper wisdom. God’s Word is written for you, and it belongs to you.
Prayer:
Lord, please help me read your Word and understand it the way you intend. I trust you to grow my faith and meet my needs as I learn and profit from your wisdom. I love you!
