A menudo luchamos con la idea de tener que perdonarnos porque no tenemos paz sobre los pecados de nuestro pasado. Pero el hecho aquí es el siguiente: el perdón de Jesús es lo importante; si él te ha liberado, tú no tienes ya ni voz ni voto al respecto. Jesús ha perdonado tus pecados. Él te ha limpiado las rodillas manchadas de tierra y sangre, ha curado tus heridas y te ha dado un beso sobre la tirita. Ahora ya puedes volver a correr.
Al correr no te detengas nunca porque has perdido la esperanza o te han invadido las dudas. Nunca quites la mano del arado porque no te sientes digna. Nunca has sido digna del derecho de servir a Dios. Jesús es la persona que te compró y él es quien te perdonó. Si aquel que juzga todas las cosas ha declarado que eres limpia, entonces eres como una novia inmaculada.
Oración:
Dios, ayúdame a servirte con todo mi corazón. Libérame de la condenación y del dolor. Ayúdame a conocer realmente tu amor y tu perdón. Gracias por redimirme y atraerme hacia ti.
Jesus Keeps You in the Race
“Do not be afraid; you have done all this evil. Yet do not turn aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart.” 1 SAMUEL 12:20 ESV
We often struggle, thinking we need to forgive ourselves because we lack peace about the sins of our past. The fact of the matter is this: Jesus’ forgiveness is what is important, and if Jesus sets you free, you have no opinion in the matter any longer. Jesus forgave your sins. He brushes the dirt off your knees, kissing and bandaging your wounds. Now you can run again.
In running, never stop for the sake of hopelessness or doubt. Never take your hand off the plow because you feel unworthy. You never earned the right to serve God. Jesus is the one who bought you, and he is the one who forgave you. If the one who will judge all things has declared you clean, then you are a bride who is spotless.
Oración:
God, help me to serve you with all my heart. Free me from condemnation and grief. Help me to truly know your love and forgiveness. Thank you for redeeming me and drawing me to you.
