Dios es excelente. Como sus representantes, debemos esforzarnos para ser excelentes también. Es importante que hagamos lo mejor posible en todo lo que ponemos las manos para hacer. Siempre hacer más que suficiente en lugar de hacer apenas lo suficiente.
Tres maneras de practicar la excelencia son: mantenga su palabra y haga siempre lo que dice a la gente que hará, termine lo que empieza, y siempre sea honesto y veraz.

So that you may learn to recognize and treasure what is excellent [identifying the best, and distinguishing moral differences], and that you may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ [actually living lives that lead others away from sin].

God is excellent. As His representatives, we should strive to be excellent, too. It’s important that we do our best in everything we put our hands to. Always do more than enough rather than merely doing barely enough.
Three ways to practice excellence are to keep your word and always do what you tell people you will do, finish what you start, and always be honest and truthful.
Paul urges us to learn to prize what is excellent and of real value. As we make excellence a way of life, we will have God’s joy and be good examples to the world.
Today’s Thought Excellence is not perfection—it is simply doing the best you can.
