Confíe en Dios en todo tiempo Esperad en él en todo tiempo, oh pueblos; derramad delante de él vuestro corazón; Dios es nuestro refugio.
SALMO 62:8
Es importante vivir con una confianza constante en Dios. Esto significa crear un hábito espiritual de confiar en Él en todo tiempo, en lugar de confiar solo cuando tenemos una necesidad o cuando surgen los problemas en nuestras vidas. Como padre o madre, no me agradaría que mis hijos solo me llamaran o me visitaran cuando necesitasen algo.
Dios es misericordioso y muchas veces nos ayuda a pesar de que lo hemos ignorado; pero no desea que nuestra relación con Él sea de esta manera. Dios me ha estado insistiendo para que en este año incremente mi confianza en Él en todo tiempo.
Todos esperamos que cada día traiga cosas nuevas y emocionantes y que todo resulte exactamente como lo habíamos planeado, pero sabemos por experiencia que raramente la vida suele ser de esa manera; podemos quedar atascados en el tráfico lo cual nos demora para una cita importante, o quizá alguien nos decepciona o nos hiere de algún modo. Tomar la decisión de confiar en Dios plenamente, incluso antes de enfrentarnos a algún desafío, es muy conveniente.
Oración:
Padre, más allá de lo que pueda suceder en este día, escojo confiar en ti. Si en este día acontecen dificultades inesperadas, pongo ahora en ti mi confianza para que cuides de mí y me ayudes a hacer lo que deba hacer.
Year of the Restitution • Trust God at All Times
Trust in, lean on, rely on, and have confidence in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is a refuge for us (a fortress and a high tower).
PSALM 62:8
It is important to live with an abiding trust in God. That means we form a spiritual habit of trusting Him at all times, rather than just when we have a need or when a problem arises in our lives. As a parent, I would not be happy with my children if they only called or visited me when they needed something.
God is merciful and there are many times when He helps us although we have ignored Him, but it isn’t the way He wants our relationship with Him to be. God has been urging me to make this year a year when I come up higher in trusting Him at all times.
We all hope that each day contains nothing but good and exciting things and that it goes exactly as we had planned, but we know from experience that it rarely turns out that way—we may get stuck in traffic that makes us late for an important appointment, or someone may disappoint us or hurt us in some way. Making a decision to trust God totally, even before we have a challenge, is very helpful.
Prayer:
Father, I trust You today for whatever this day brings. If this day contains difficulty that I did not expect, I put my trust in You now to take care of me and enable me to do what I need to do.
