Hay Momentos en la vida de todos nosotros en que las cosas no están cambiando tan rápido como nos gustaría o no están saliendo bien; o estamos orando, creyendo, pero nuestra salud no está mejorando; nuestras finanzas no han dado un giro, no hemos encontrado la persona correcta y podemos sentirnos solos y olvidados como si nuestra situación nunca fuera cambiar. Eso es una temporada difícil en las que parece como si Dios no estuviera haciendo nada o que no está al tanto.
En esos tiempos debemos entender que Dios todavía está en control y que solo porque no suceda no quiere decir que Dios no esté obrando pues él no siempre muestra lo que está haciendo.
Es fácil confiar en Dios, cuando todos nos está yendo bien, pero tenemos que aprender a confiar en él en los momentos y en las temporadas difíciles aun cuando las cosas no salen de un momento otro como queremos o cuando las temporadas permanecen de una manera contraria a lo que nosotros hemos esperado.
Un ejemplo de temporadas difíciles es David, quien después de esa gloriosa victoria sobre el gigante Goliat pasó años huyendo del rey Saúl, durmiendo en cuevas en el desierto. Probablemente en algún momento de su vida oró Dios para ser librado de sus enemigos y pudo parecerle que los cielos estaban en silencio. La respuesta de Dios ante estas situaciones es animarnos sin embargo Dios siempre está hablando, exhortándonos a aguantar un poco más. Dios no cambia la situación de un momento a otro, sino que trabaja en nuestro corazón.
Esas temporadas difíciles son tiempos para que no nos desanimemos y escoger decir, “Dios no lo entiendo, pero confío en ti”.
Debemos de ver con fe el final de la historia, pues esta no termina con la noche, ya que como la noche es temporal, así lo es la enfermedad o la soledad. Cuando seguimos adelante, nos daremos cuenta de que el final de la historia termina en bendición, como le pasó a Ruth, pues perdió a su marido a una edad temprana y seguramente estaba devastada con el corazón roto, pero prefirió entender que ese mal momento era una temporada en vez de hacerse la víctima.
Dios nos dice que esta temporada no es el final, y que esta temporada difícil no llegó para quedarse. Lo que llegó para quedarse en tu vida es su gloria.
Hay que atrevernos a confiar en Dios y seguir creyendo con fe que vendrá la mañana y con ella, la alegría y la claridad que necesitamos.
Oración: Padre bueno, gracias te damos porque siempre tienes algo que enseñarnos, y aún más en los tiempos difíciles. Te rogamos que nos enseñes a entender tu eternidad como defensa contra las pruebas de nuestra corta vida, pues ya no pondremos la mirada en nuestra aflicción momentánea, sino en tu gloria que nos sobre pasa. Ayúdame a confiar en ti y poner mi esperanza en que veré tu bondad.
Find purpose in the difficult time.

There are times in all of us life when things are not changing as fast as we would like or are not going well; or we are praying, believing, but our health is not improving; our finances have not taken a turn, we have not found the right person and we can feel lonely and forgotten as if our situation is never changing. This is a difficult season in which it seems as if God is not doing anything or is not aware of it.
In those times we must understand that God is still in control and just because it does not happen does not mean that God is not working; he doesn’t always show what he’s doing.
It’s easy to trust God, when we’re all doing well, but we have to learn to trust him in difficult times and in seasons even when things do not come out as we want or when seasons remain contrary to what we have expected.
An example of difficult seasons is when David, who after that glorious victory over the giant Goliath, spent years fleeing from King Saul, sleeping in caves in the desert. Probably at some point in his life he prayed to God to be delivered from his enemies and its seem to him that the heavens were silent. God’s response to these situations is to encourage us, however God is always speaking, exhorting us to endure a little more. God does not change the situation from one moment to another, but works in our hearts.
These difficult seasons are times for us not to be discouraged and choose to say, “God I do not understand, but I trust in you.”
We must see with faith the end of the story, because it does not end with the night, since the night is temporary, so is illness or loneliness. As we move on, we will realize that the end of the story ends in blessing, as what happened to Ruth, because she lost her husband at a young age and was surely devastated with a broken heart. But he preferred to understand that this bad moment was a season rather than becoming the victim.
God tells us that this season is not the end, and that this difficult season is not here to stay. What is here to stay in your life in His glory.
We must dare to trust in God and continue believing with faith that tomorrow will come and with it, the joy and clarity we need.
Prayer:
Good Father, thank you because you always have something to teach us, and even more in difficult times. We pray that you teach us to understand your eternity as a defense against the trials of our short life, for we will no longer look upon our momentary affliction, but upon your glory that passes over us. Help me to trust you and put my hope that I will see your goodness.
