¡Dichosa tú que has creído, porque lo que el Señor te ha dicho se cumplirá! LUCAS 1:45 (NVI)
A menudo las promesas son lo que nos ayuda a seguir adelante. Necesitamos poder esperar algo con emoción: un lugar al que llegar o una línea de meta que ansiamos cruzar. Cuando empezamos a perder la fe de llegar a aquella línea de meta o cuando dudamos de que nuestro sueño se vaya a cumplir, ahí es cuando vacilamos y comenzamos a perder el rumbo.
Nuestras creencias tienen muchísimo poder. Piensa en todas aquellas personas de la Biblia a las que Jesús dijo: «Tu fe te ha salvado». Dios siempre recompensa a un corazón que cree. Él es glorificado en la fe de sus hijos y en la confianza que depositan en sus promesas. No pierdas de vista lo que te ha prometido. Cree que lo cumplirá, por muy improbable que te pueda parecer. No te olvidará. Y te bendecirá por tu fe inquebrantable en él.
Oración:
Dios, ayúdame a creer siempre que tú harás que se cumplan los sueños que me has dado. Deseo tu bendición y quiero que se me conozca como aquella que nunca perdió la fe en tu promesa.
She Who Has Believed
“Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!” LUKE 1:45 NIV
Promise is often what keeps us going. We need something to look forward to—a banner to hold up and a finish line to run toward. When we begin to lose faith that we will reach that finish line, or when we start to doubt that the dream will ever come true, that is when we falter and begin to lose our way.
There is so much power in our belief. Think about those in Scripture to whom Jesus said, “Your faith has made you well.” God has always rewarded a believing heart. He is glorified in the faith of his children and in their trust in his promises. Don’t lose sight of what he has promised you. Believe that he will fulfill it no matter how unlikely it seems to you. He will not forget you. And he will bless you for your unwavering faith in him.
Prayer:
God, help me to always believe that you will bring to pass the dreams you’ve given me. I desire your blessing, and I want to be known as one who never lost faith in your promise.
