¿Tú qué ves?
Cuando Dios ve el rechazo.
V: 31: “Y vio Jehová que Lea era menospreciada, y le dio hijos”.
Más de un millón de veces yo dije: “Un regalo no puede sanar una herida”.
Creo que me equivoqué un poco… Al menos si comprendo que eso sí puede ser cierto, si ese regalo viene de Dios.
Algunas veces, Dios mira que eres menospreciado o rechazado, Él ve lo profundo de tu corazón y todo lo que se remueve por dentro.
Lea vivía con un hombre que no sabía valorar o amarla como ella hubiese querido, lo refleja con los nombres de sus tres primeros hijos (Génesis 29:32-34).
Y Dios sabe que debes estar allí con esa persona que solo te menosprecia.
Él vio tu menosprecio.
En el versículo anterior Raquel aparece como una mujer que vale la pena, merece cada día de esos siete año. Pero, Lea se pudo haber preguntado: ¿Y si alguno de esos años hubiera tenido mi nombre? ¿También lo valdría?
Dios veía todo eso.
Pero Dios, en vez de hacer que Jacob ame más a Lea, le da hijos a Lea.
¿Por qué? Porque algunas decisiones la deben tomar las mismas personas; si una persona no quiere amarte, tiene las dos opciones, cambiar o no.
Jacob no cambio de parecer, pero Dios quería sanar el corazón de Lea y le da un hijo.
Un hijo, una bendición, una oportunidad, un amor, una puerta abierta.
Tú quieres el amor de esa persona, pero Dios que lo sabe todo, te da algo distinto y debes confiar que es lo mejor.
¡Entiendo! Lea también quería que su esposo la amara, pero algo que Lea no veía hasta que tuvo su cuarto hijo fue que ella era muy amada por Dios, tanto que le daba hijos vez tras vez.
¿Te diste cuenta? Dios mira tú rechazo y también te ha dado una bendición.
¿Lo viste tú a Él? Porque Lea no lo había visto.
Todos se daban cuenta como Dios defendía a Lea, y le demostraba Su amor, pero ella estaba tan empeñada en que ese rechazo dejara de ser, que no vio que el Amor mismo la cubría.
¿Lo viste tú a Él? ¿Cómo llamarás ahora las bendiciones que Dios usa como consuelo? Lea le puso Judá. “Alabanza a Dios” (Génesis 29:35).
Alaba a Dios porque Él te consuela. ¿Qué haces buscando el amor si ya ese amor te encontró?
Y aunque el amor de alguien no puede ser reemplazado, ¡ojalá puedas entender el amor que Dios tiene por ti!
Oración:
Gracias Padre por que sintiendome rechazado y abandonado, fueron tus ojos los que me encontraron, eres tú que consuela mi alma, con cada bendición otorgada solo permiteme descubrir cada una de ellas y reconocer que valioso soy para ti, hazme entender cuan grande es tu amor hacia mi. En el nombre de Jesús ¡Amén!
Year of Restitution
What do you see?
When God sees rejection.
V: 31: “And Jehovah saw that Leah was despised, and bore him sons.”
More than a million times I said, “A gift cannot heal a wound.”
I think I was a little wrong… At least if I understand that it can be true, if that gift comes from God.
Sometimes, God sees that you are despised or rejected, He sees the depth of your heart and everything that is removed from within.
LEA lived with a man who did not know how to value or love her as she would have liked, reflecting it with the names of her first three children (Genesis 29:32-34).
And God know that you must be there with that person who only despises you.
He saw your contempt.
In the previous verse Rachel appears as a woman who is worth it, worth every day of those seven years. But, Lea might have asked herself: What if any of those years were meant for my name? Would it be worth it too?
God saw all that.
But God, instead of making Jacob love Leah more, gives Leah children.
Why? Because some decisions must be made by the same people; if a person does not want to love you, he has two options; to change or not.
Jacob didn’t change his mind, but God wanted to heal Leah’s heart and give her a son.
A son, a blessing, an opportunity, a love, an open door.
You want the love of that person, but God who knows everything, gives you something different and you must trust that it is the best.
I understand! LEA also wanted her husband to love her, but one thing Lea didn’t see until she had her fourth child was that she was so much loved by God that she gave her children time after time.
Did you notice? God looks at your rejection and has also given you a blessing.
Do you see him? Because Lea had not seen him.
Everyone realized how God defended Leah, and showed her his Love, but she was so determined that this rejection ceased, that she did not see that Love itself covered her.
Did you see him? What will you now call the blessings that God uses as comfort? Leah gave him Judah. “Praise to God” (Genesis 29:35).
Praises God because He comforts you. What do you do looking for love if that love already found you?
And even though someone’s love cannot be replaced, hopefully you can understand the love God has for you!
Prayer:
Thank you Father that feeling rejected and abandoned, it was your eyes that found me, it is you who comforts my soul, with each blessing given only let me discover each of them and recognize how valuable I am to you, let me understand how great is your love for me. In the name of Jesus Amen!
