Si está experimentando dolor emocional o físico, no importa cuán grande o pequeño sea, puede ser abrumador. Pero aquí hay algo a lo que aferrarse: una lucha o pérdida personal no tiene que eclipsar cada parte de su vida. Todavía puede tener gozo incluso en medio del dolor.
El gozo no siempre es una hilaridad extrema; a veces, el gozo es simplemente un deleite tranquilo. Y puede deleitarse en Dios y en su promesa de estar con usted (ver Deuteronomio 31:6) incluso cuando los tiempos sean difíciles, especialmente cuando los tiempos son difíciles.
La clave es confiar en Dios. Él sabe por lo que está atravesando y, si confía en lo que ha dicho, Él restaurará su gozo. Es posible que no vea cómo va a funcionar o cómo lo superará, pero sepa que Dios tiene el control y que Él puede hacer lo imposible.

Joy in the Midst of Sorrow
You have turned my mourning into dancing for me; You have taken off my sackcloth and clothed me with joy.
(Psalm 30:11)
If you are experiencing emotional or physical pain—no matter how big or how small—it can seem overwhelming. But here is something to hold on to: a struggle or personal loss doesn’t have to overshadow every part of your life. You can still have joy even in the midst of sorrow.
Joy isn’t always extreme hilarity; sometimes joy is simply a calm delight. And you can delight yourself in God and in His promise to always be with you (see Deuteronomy 31:6) even when times are difficult—especially when times are difficult.
The key Is to trust God. He knows what you’re going through, and if you trust Him, He will restore your joy. You may not see how it’s going to work out or how you’re going to get over it, but know that God is in control, and He can do the impossible.
