Tal vez usted se pregunte por qué dedicamos tiempo todos los años para celebrar la resurrección. Por supuesto, la razón principal es que Jesucristo, nuestro Señor y Salvador, está vivo. Realmente piense en eso y en la esperanza eterna que Él nos confiere.
Jesús murió, fue a la tumba y la conquistó. ¡Derrotó a la muerte para siempre! Ningún otro líder religioso en la historia puede hacer tal afirmación, pues todos permanecen bajo el dominio de la muerte. Pero Aquel que amamos, seguimos y servimos la venció. Y debido a que Cristo resucitó de la tumba, nosotros y nuestros seres amados creyentes también resucitaremos; disfrutaremos vida eterna con Él en el cielo (Juan 14:1–3).
Pero también celebramos la resurrección porque Aquel que nos salva está activamente disponible para ayudarnos siempre sin fallar. Al haber vivido como uno de nosotros, Jesús comprende nuestros temores y fallas, dolores y tristezas. Y sabemos que si venció la tumba por nosotros, cuánto más nos ayudará con ese mismo poder de resurrección en cualquier situación que enfrentemos. Para Él, absolutamente nada le será imposible superar en favor de usted.
Sin duda, ¡este es un motivo para celebrar cada día!

Jesús, ¡estás vivo! No solo eres un líder histórico, sino que estás aquí conmigo, defendiéndome y proveyendo para mí con tu poder de resurrección. ¡Te alabo, mi Señor vivo! Amén.
CELEBRATING THE RESURRECTION
Death is swallowed up in victory. 1 CORINTHIANS 15:54
Perhaps you wonder why we take time to celebrate the resurrection every year. The main reason, of course, is that Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, is alive! Really think about that.
Jesus died, went to the grave, and conquered it. He defeated death forever! No other religious leader in history can make such a claim—all remain mastered by death. But the One we love, follow, and serve overcame it! And because Christ rose from the grave, we and all our believing loved ones will too—we will enjoy eternal life with Him in heaven (John 14:1–3).
But we also celebrate the resurrection because the One who saves us is actively available to help us—always without fail. Having lived like us, Jesus understands our fears, failings, and sorrows. We know that if He defeated the grave for us, how much more will He help us with whatever we face with that same resurrection power. Absolutely nothing will be impossible for Him to overcome on our behalf.
Certainly, that is cause for celebration every day!
Prayer:
Jesus, You are alive! You are not just a historical leader; You are right here with me—defending and providing for me with Your resurrection power. I praise You, my living Lord! Amen.
