Hay algo en la alabanza a Dios que trae su presencia a nuestras circunstancias de una manera asombrosa. Cuando Judá se enfrentó a tres abrumadores ejércitos enemigos, el rey Josafat envió a sus cantores a la batalla con el grito de guerra: «Den gracias al SEÑOR, porque para siempre es Su misericordia» (2 Crónicas 20:21). Sus enemigos acabaron destruyéndose mutuamente, ¡mientras que el ejército de Judá nunca levantó una espada!
Alabar a Dios en nuestros desafíos centra nuestra atención en su ayuda real y poderosa. Esa exaltación fija nuestras emociones y pensamientos en la grandeza de nuestro Libertador, que a su vez trae nuestros problemas a una perspectiva manejable. ¿Qué relación no puede sanar Él? ¿Qué enemigo no puede vencer?
Cuanto más alabas, más engrandeces a aquel que está verdaderamente a cargo de todas las cosas. Así que acude al Señor en adoración y alabanza cuando tu alma esté turbada y la noche sea oscura. Confiesa en voz alta los versículos que profesan la bondad y la grandeza de Dios, y piensa en lo bueno que ha sido contigo. Luego, observa la afluencia constante de su fuerza y su esperanza. Porque cuando hayas exaltado al Señor, Él te levantará.

I here is something about praising God that brings His presence into our circumstances in an astounding way. When Judah faced three overwhelming opposing armies, King Jehoshaphat sent his singers out to battle with the war cry, “Give thanks to the LoRD, for His lovingkindness is everlasting” (2 Chronicles 20:21). Their enemies ended up destroying each other, while Judah’s army never lifted a sword!
Praising God in our challenges focuses our attention on His very real and powerful help. Such exaltation fixes our emotions and thoughts on the greatness of our Deliverer, which in turn brings our troubles into man- ageable perspective. What relationship can He not heal? What enemy can He not conquer?
The more you praise, the more you magnify the One who is truly in charge of all things. So go to the Lord in worship and ado- ration when your soul is troubled and the night is dark. Confess aloud verses that de- scribe God’s loving-kindness and greatness
Sometimes God won’t respond in the way you hope or expect, but you’ll always find that He leads you to the absolute best for you.

Jesus, in every way, You have my best interest at heart. Lead me, Lord. Amen.
