No es suficiente rechazar el plan del enemigo. Debes nutrir la Palabra del Señor. Necesitas atraer a tu pecho la promesa de Dios y la visión del futuro. Es una ley natural que cualquier cosa que no sea alimentada morirá. Lo que sea que hayas atraído al pecho es lo que está creciendo en tu vida. La lactancia materna tiene varias ventajas para lo que alimenta: (a) escucha los latidos de su corazón; (b) se calienta con tu cercanía; (c) se nutre de ti. Precaución: asegúrese de nutrir lo que quiere que crezca y matar de hambre a lo que quiere que muera.
Mientras lee esto, puede sentir que la vida se le está pasando. A menudo experimenta éxito en un área y una gran derrota en otras. Necesitas un deseo ardiente por el futuro, el tipo de deseo que supera los miedos y las inhibiciones del pasado. Permanecerás encadenado a tu pasado y todos los secretos que contiene hasta que decidas: ¡Ya es suficiente!
Te estoy diciendo que cuando tu deseo por el futuro alcance su punto máximo, puedes escapar de la prisión. Te desafío a que te sientes y escribas 30 cosas que te gustaría hacer con tu vida y las rasques, una por una, a medida que las vayas logrando. No hay manera de que pueda planificar para el futuro y vivir en el pasado al mismo tiempo.
¡Siento un terremoto que entra en tu prisión! Es medianoche, ¡el punto de inflexión de los días! Es tu momento de un cambio. Alaba a Dios y escapa de las mazmorras de tu pasado.
TU VIAJE DE SANACIÓN
La Palabra de Dios es lo que te da una visión clara de tu futuro. Las Escrituras nos dicen que cuando no tenemos visión, perecemos, morimos. Nos abrimos a creer las palabras mentirosas del enemigo cuando no estamos llenos de las palabras de Dios que forman la visión. Más que la muerte física, la ausencia de visión crea estancamiento en nuestras vidas. Piénsalo. Siempre será difícil para nosotros tener la determinación de escapar de la prisión del pasado cuando no tenemos una visión para el futuro. Por eso la Palabra es tan importante. Da esperanza y visión.
Abra las Escrituras y pídale al Espíritu Santo que personalice la Palabra para usted. Pídele que personalice las promesas para darte esperanza y visión para tu futuro. No se preocupe, esto no es sacar la Biblia de contexto. Es leer con ojos que ven cómo las promesas, declaraciones y anuncios de Dios están disponibles para ti hoy. Comience con pasajes como Jeremías 29:11, donde Dios promete dar una esperanza y un futuro. Aunque esa promesa eterna fue originalmente para el pueblo de Dios en esa era específica, el contexto lo es todo. Eran un pueblo en el exilio. Eran extraños que vivían en una tierra extraña. Dios estaba liberando esta visión de esperanza y un futuro en medio de un pueblo sin visión. Todo lo que podían ver era el exilio. Todo lo que podían pensar era: “No estamos donde deberíamos estar”. Tal vez te sientas así. El mismo Dios de esperanza quiere hablar sobre ti palabras de visión, vida, destino y futuro, tal como lo hizo con su pueblo en los días de Jeremías.
NURTURE THE WORD OF THE LORD
I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. —PSALM 119:11, NLT
It is not enough to reject the enemy’s plan. You must nurture the Word of the Lord. You need to draw the promise of God and the vision for the future to your breast. It is a natural law that anything not fed will die. Whatever you have drawn to the breast is what is growing in your life. Breast-feeding holds several advantages for what you feed: (a) it hears your heartbeat; (b) it is warmed by your closeness; (c) it draws nourishment from you. Caution: Be sure you are nurturing what you want to grow and starving what you want to die.
As you read this, you may feel that life is passing you by. You often experience success in one area and gross defeat in others. You need a burning desire for the future, the kind of desire that overcomes past fear and inhibitions. You will remain chained to your past and all the secrets therein until you decide: Enough is enough!
I am telling you that when your desire for the future peaks, you can break out of prison. I challenge you to sit down and write 30 things you would like to do with your life and scratch them off, one by one, as you accomplish them. There is no way you can plan for the future and dwell in the past at the same time.
I feel an earthquake coming into your prison! It is midnight—the turning point of days! It is your time for a change. Praise God and escape out of the dungeons of your past.
YOUR HEALING JOURNEY
The Word of God is what gives you clear vision for your future. Scripture tells us that when we don’t have vision, we perish—we die. We become open to believe the lying words of the enemy when we are not filled with the vision-forming words of God. More than physical death, the absence of vision creates stagnancy in our lives. Think about it. It will always be difficult for us to have the resolve to break out of the prison of the past when we don’t have a vision for the future. This is why the Word is so important. It gives hope and vision.
Open the Scriptures and ask the Holy Spirit to personalize the Word for you. Ask Him to personalize the promises to give you hope and vision for your future. Don’t worry, this is not taking the Bible out of context. It’s reading with eyes that see how God’s promises, declarations, and announcements are available for you today. Start with passages like Jeremiah 29:11, where God promises to give a hope and a future. Though that timeless promise was originally for God’s people in that specific era, the context is everything. They were a people in exile. They were strangers living in a strange land. God was releasing this vision of hope and a future into the midst of a visionless people. All they could see was exile. All they could think about was, “We’re not where we should be.” Maybe you feel like this. The same God of hope wants to speak words of vision, life, destiny, and future over you, just as He did for His people in the days of Jeremiah.
